Three teams, however, were each rewarded three points because the teams they were scheduled to play had withdrawn from the matches that day. These three teams were Future SC, Bodden Town FC, and Scholars ISC.
However, two other teams were able to earn their three points by defeating their respective opponents in round one. These teams are Academy SC and Sunset FC.
Going into the game Sunset vs. East End, with East End being the favorites because they were home, they lost to Sunset FC 1-0. Academy was able to pull out a win in their home field, defeating Elite SC 2-0.
Round two matches are scheduled for the weekend of the 22 – 23 of January when the league resumes.
